Over the years, the Homeland Security Today awards evolved from only three awards in 2012, to nearly two dozen in 2019. Initially, the awards represented those engaged with the Government Technology & Services Coalition, and recognized the people and companies supporting the homeland mission. The awards expanded nationally in 2017 when GTSC purchased Homeland Security Today and have since grown to the most prestigious awards in the nation recognizing those supporting the mission of securing our homeland.
